Jeżeli posiadasz RHEL i potrzebujesz, repozytorium CentOS, możesz je wykorzystać, ale uwaga, pakiety zainstalowane z repozytorium centos nie będą objęte wsparciem firmy Red Hat. Instalacja na własne ryzyko ;)
Dla potrzebujących oto CentOS-Base.repo z dystrybucji CentOS:
# CentOS-Base.repo
#
# This file uses a new mirrorlist system developed by Lance Davis for CentOS.
# The mirror system uses the connecting IP address of the client and the
# update status of each mirror to pick mirrors that are updated to and
# geographically close to the client. You should use this for CentOS updates
# unless you are manually picking other mirrors.
#
# If the mirrorlist= does not work for you, as a fall back you can try the
# remarked out baseurl= line instead.

Co zmodyfikowałem?
-Ustawiłem GPG Check na 0(mozna zmienić na 1 i zaimportować klucze publiczne z CentOSa).
-Ustawiłem statycznie na wersja 5.
-Zmienilem nazwy base na centos5, updates na centos5updates.
Mozna, (a nawet należy) zablokować nadpisywanie paczek z RHN, paczkami z centos, mozna to zrobic np. poprzez yum-protecktbase. (Jak korzystać z protecta w z repo RHN jest np. tutaj -> https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=436043)
W razie jakiś pytań, można pisać ;)
